Maurice Edward Fendrick Sunday, October 9, 1927 - Saturday, May 27, 2017
Feura Bush - Fendrick, Maurice Edward Fendrick, 89, entered eternal life on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at St. Peter's Hospital. Born in Albany he was the son of the late John and Sarah Fendrick. He was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran and served on the U.SS. Colonial (LSD-18) He moved from Albany and built his home in Feura Bush which he loved. He was a professional painter, and worked for N.Y. Central Railroad and Conrail. He loved fishing, camping and being at Scroon River and Eagle Lake, and enjoyed Bingo.
Survivors include: his wife Joyce, daughter Kim Simpson (Joe Hendricks), son John. Grandsons: Kevin Simpson (Chrissi) and Jason Russell. Great grandchildren: Kevin Jr., Karly Rose, Kenzi Marie and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by wife Mary Lou Fendrick, brother Robert Fendrick, and sister Ruth Chapelle. Also survived by stepson; Mark (Melanie) Edwards, daughters Ashley and Megan, Kathy Duell (Garry), Bernard Edwards, and children.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Friday, 9::00 am at the Church of St. Thomas the Apostle, Delmar. Friends may call at the funeral home, Thursday, 4-8:00 pm.
